History of the prize

This prize was founded in 1992 by the Centaur Nurses Memorial Education Trust Committee. The prize was renamed the Joy Croker Centaur Silver Medal in 2004 in memory of Joy Croker who was president of the Trust. The prize is awarded to the undergraduate nursing student obtaining the highest grade point average in the final year of the undergraduate nursing course at the university.

Prize Information

Awarded to the Bachelor of Nursing Science student who obtained the highest grade point average in their final year of studies.

A silver medal, letter and a book based on the history of the Centaur as chosen by the Donor.
