History of the prize
This prize was founded in 2004 and is maintained with donations from the Zonta Club of Townsville Metro Inc. It is awarded to the female Engineering student in her final year who submits the best thesis. Premise is a proud sponsor and they are a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering tailored solutions across the Built Environment, Water, Environmental & Renewables, and Transport sectors. Their work is shaped by innovation, local knowledge, and a strong ethical commitment to people and place.
