Ross Smith Prize

History of the prize

This prize was founded in 1990 with an endowment from colleagues, friends and former students of the late Mr Ross Smith on the occasion of his retirement, to commemorate his services to teaching and research in English and Australian literature. The prize is awarded to the College of Arts, Society and Education student who obtains the highest overall result in a level 3 English Literature subject
