History of the prize

This prize was founded in 2015 and is maintained with donations from the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). It is awarded to the student enrolled in the 6th year of the MBBS course who has demonstrated the highest achievement in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology component of the course. The recipient must have achieved a grade of HD or D in the Reproductive and Neonatal Health (RNH) component of their year 5 assessment (exams and rotation work) and must demonstrate an interest in and commitment to, Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Prize Information

Awarded to the graduating Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery student enrolled in the 6th year of the degree, who has demonstrated the highest achievement in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology component of the course.

$500.00 and a certificate.
