History of the prize

Founded in 2004 and maintained with annual donations from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Queensland Faculty. The prize consists of $500 and is awarded to the student enrolled in the College of Medicine who has the highest achievement in the general practice component of the year 5 course, and demonstrates an interest in and commitment to general practice as a discipline.

Prize Information

Awarded to the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery student who has the highest achievement in the general practice component during their fifth year, and demonstrates an interest in and commitment to general practice as a discipline.

$500.00 and sponsorship to attend an RACGP event.
