2025 Visiting Scholars
Professor Jessie Borelli
Professor Jessie Borelli’s visit to Townsville was a valuable opportunity for the MRCMHR and James Cook University to engage with a leading expert in developmental psychopathology. Her work on relationships, emotional health, and risk for anxiety and depression strongly aligned with the Centre’s mission to advance mental health research and intervention.
A highlight of the visit was her seminar, Raising Resilience, which provided practical, evidence-based strategies for strengthening parent–child relationships and supporting children’s emotional development.
