Advisory Groups

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is established to provide independent, expert scientific and strategic advice to the Margaret Roderick Centre for Mental Health Research (MRCMHR). The SAB supports the MRCMHR’s mission to strengthen mental health research, translation, and impact for people living in regional, rural, and remote communities. The Community Advisory Group (CAG) is established to provide community‑informed and stakeholder advice to the Margaret Roderick Centre for Mental Health Research (MRCMHR). The CAG ensures that the Centre’s research, translation, and engagement activities are responsive to the needs, priorities, and values of communities in regional, rural, and remote settings. The Margaret Roderick Centre for Mental Health Research (MRCMHR) recognises the unique insight of people with lived/living experience of mental health challenges and suicide. Their contributions will improve the relevance of our research, reduce stigma, and help ensure our work leads to better mental health outcomes. Involving people with lived experience will also support empowerment, recovery, and positive community impact. For more information, visit Lived Experience Advisory Group
