Tom Gilliatt

Tom began his career in publishing in 1990 as a publishing assistant at Random Century in London.

In 1995 he moved to Sydney and joined Pan Macmillan as an editor. He became non-fiction publisher in 1999 and in 2005 joined the Pan Macmillan board as director of non-fiction publishing. In 2014 he moved to Allen & Unwin to take up the role of publishing director, running their adult publishing programme.

In late 2022, after more than 30 years of working for large publishing companies, Tom made the decision to become a literary agent and use his significant industry experience in representing his own authors. He joined Left Bank Literary in December 2022.
