As educators, you play a crucial role in extending access and widening participation in higher education.

Our pathway and support programs include regional, remote, Indigenous, first-in-family, and international students. Inclusive subject design at JCU ensures all students have equal opportunities to succeed regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.

The core principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL)—Multiple Means of Engagement, Representation, and Action & Expression—are integral to this design. UDL removes barriers to learning by providing flexible pathways for students to engage with the material, understand the content, and demonstrate their knowledge.
