EDQS Development & Recognition Grants & Awards JCU DVC Education's Student Experience Award

JCU DVC Education's Gen AI in Curriculum Award

JCU recognises outstanding practice in teaching and scholarship in many ways, and the Deputy Vice Chancellor Education's Gen AI in Curriculum Award is one of those.

The DVCE's Gen AI in Curriculum Awards recognise and reward the many ways in which JCU's educators strive to ensure JCU's student experience is sector leading.  The theme for 2025 is focused on recognising and celebrating discrete, innovations or adaptations in teaching practice, learning activities, or curriculum content (including assessment) that included GenAI, resulted in an enhanced learning experience for students, and maintained or improved academic quality outcomes.

The winners of these awards are chosen by a panel of University teaching and learning stakeholders. Winners are expected to share their good practices with the learning and teaching communities both with their College/Division and across the wider JCU community. Winners will be announced at the Celebrating Excellence in Learning and Teaching at JCU:  Teaching Excellence Awards on Thursday, 4 September 2025.
