JCU Elite Athlete Program Terms and Conditions

Athlete students are required to:

• Be a current enrolled student of JCU.
• Confirm your Elite Athlete status each year to continue in the program with supporting documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date sporting performance achievements and information via correspondence with Elite Athlete Program Coordinator.
• Make yourselves known as a JCU Elite Athlete student to your Course Coordinators and Tutors at the beginning of each semester.
• Notify Course Coordinators at the beginning of the semester of any expected competitions and events during semester that will require time away from university.
• Respond to communications from the Elite Athlete Program Coordinator.
• Pay student tuition and amenities fees according to JCU Student Finance's published time schedule.
• Abide by all JCU Code of Conduct and Ethic policies.
• Elite Athlete Statue is only valid for 12 months.  Students are required to reapply for Elite Athlete Status each year.

As a member of the JCU Elite Athlete Program, I agree to the following conditions:

• I am aware that the JCU Elite Athlete Program facilitates academic support, and ensures students have the appropriate assistance for their academic studies whilst honouring their commitments and time schedules as an Elite Athlete student.
• I am aware that it is my responsibility to notify the JCU Elite Athlete Program Coordinator of any changes in my sporting career that may affect my status as an Elite Athlete student.
• I am aware that it is my responsibility to keep my contact details up-to-date.

NOTE:  Failure to comply with the conditions laid out in this agreement may result in invalidation of your Elite Athlete student status at JCU
