2021 Australia Day Honours for JCU staff, students and alumni

We extend our congratulations to the James Cook University staff, students and alumni who have been recognised in the 2021 Australia Day Honours lists as well as local award recipients. These include:

Prof Helene Marsh AO, Distinguished Professor of Environmental Science, since 2010; Emeritus Professor, since 2018; Foundation Dean, Graduate Research Studies, 1997-2018; Head of School, Tropical Environment Studies and Geography, 1994-1999.

Dr Carden Wallace AM, Adjunct Professorial Research Fellow, Australian Centre for Tropical Freshwater Research, 2012-2014
