Schedule B - Vehicle Expenses

1.   Costs covered by monthly hire charged to cost centre include:

  • Depreciation
  • Registration
  • Compulsory third party Insurance (CTP)
  • Insurance, as per JCU Commercial Motor Vehicle Policy
  • Servicing and fair wear and tear on the vehicle
  • One standard clean per month
  • Replacement tyres maximum one full set replacement per annum (if required)
  • Vehicle mechanical breakdown assistance through RACQ Fleetcare Program or manufacturer breakdown assistance (if applicable).

2.   Costs not covered by monthly hire and charged to cost centre include:

  • Accidents
  • Insurance excess on claims ($1,000)
  • Replacement of vehicle keys
  • All costs associated with vehicle recovery (bogged, flooded)
  • Costs resulting from failure to maintain under bonnet fluid levels
  • Costs resulting from failure to properly secure or load equipment.

3.   Costs that are the responsibility of the Senior Executive staff member include:

  • Parking and other traffic violations
  • Repairs (other than ‘fair wear and tear’) required to the vehicle during the term of or at completion of the term of the packaging arrangement
