Sam is the CEO of Sea Forest, a leader in the production of seaweeds and the red seaweed Asparagopsis. He has 15+ years’ experience in developing sustainable production systems having founded one of Australia’s first sustainable apparel businesses. In his role as the CEO he has responsibility for managing Sea Forest’s R&D portfolio across academic, Government, and industry research teams. Mr Elsom will manage R&D activities staff and resources related to Sea Forest in the Hub.
