For SBTEs who have shared supervision of a student, please ensure that the total hours claimed across both SBTE claims is 100% (eg SBTE 1 claims 50%, SBTE 2 claims 50% = 100%).

FOR PAY CLAIMS FOR SUPERVISION UNDERTAKEN PRIOR TO 27^th JUNE 2025

To submit a pay claim you will be required to submit: Student Teacher Payment Claim Form, Tax File Number Declaration*, and complete the Digital Choice Super Form.

The Digital Choice Super Form may ask you to attach a compliance letter from your nominated Superannuation Fund. You can find your Superannuation Compliance letter by googling ‘Your Super Fund Compliance Letter’  (eg Sunsuper Compliance Letter)

• 2025 Student-Teacher Payment Claim Form (for supervision undertaken prior to 27^th June 2025

The claimed amount will be processed and paid into your account usually within four to six weeks of receipt of your pay claim.

FOR PAY CLAIMS FOR SUPERVISION UNDERTAKEN FROM 28^th JUNE 2025

To submit a pay claim you will be required to submit: Student Teacher Payment Claim Form and Tax File Number Declaration*.

• 2025 Supervising Teacher Payment Claim Form (for supervision undertaken after 28^th June 2025

Please be advised that as of 28^th June 2025, JCU does not pay superannuation on supervising teacher payments, so there is no longer the requirement to complete a Digital Choice Super Form.

The claimed amount will be processed and paid into your account usually within four to six weeks of receipt of your pay claim.

* A tax file declaration is required for new Supervising Teachers or those who have not been paid by JCU for more than 12 months

PLEASE NOTE: As part of the PEPA Agreement with the Department of Education, payments are only permitted to be made to individual supervising teacher bank accounts and are not permitted to be paid to 'general' school accounts.
