Chairperson of the Academic Board

The Chairperson of the Academic Board is responsible for managing the functions and business of the Academic Board and is the point of contact between the academic community, the University Council and senior university management teams.

The Chairperson of the Academic Board reports the outcomes of each Academic Board to the University Council. Appointments to the role are determined by the University Council for a period of up to three years, which can be reviewed at any time.

By virtue of the position, the Chairperson of the Academic Board is also a member of the University Council and the Vice Chancellor’s Advisory Committee.
