Chair of the Academic Board

The Chairperson of the Academic Board (CAB) is responsible for managing the functions and business of the Academic Board and is the point of contact between the academic community, the Council and the senior management of the University.

The Chairperson of the Academic Board makes a report to Council following each meeting of the Academic Board on the business transacted and matters considered. The Chairperson of the Academic Board is appointed for a period of up to three years and can be re-appointed as determined by the Council.

The Chairperson of the Academic Board is a member of the Vice Chancellor’s Advisory Committee.
