Biography

Casie Scott is a strategic leader with more than 20 years’ experience delivering enterprise-wide strategy, stakeholder engagement and high-impact communications initiatives across government, professional services and media. She is the National Broadband Network Manager for north-west Queensland, delivering programs that drive commercial growth, regional development, service equity and operational excellence. Her work focuses on building cross-sector partnerships and developing strategic frameworks that strengthen digital capability and community outcomes.

As a Specialist Reservist Military Public Affairs Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force, Casie also leads integrated communications and media engagement in complex operating environments, including major exercises such as Exercise Talisman Sabre. She also contributes to the Royal Australian Air Force Living History Program, hosting short documentary content.

Casie is experienced in policy and advocacy development and delivery. Her earlier career includes executive leadership at PVW Partners (formerly PwC), and senior advisory and crisis communications roles in Queensland, the Northern Territory and Australian Government settings.

She also spent more than a decade in senior newsroom roles, including Chief of Staff and Producer/Reporter positions with Seven and Nine News.

Casie holds a Bachelor of Journalism from James Cook University, an IAP2 Australasia Certificate in Engagement and contributes to the community through volunteer roles in advocacy, mentoring and communications.
