Secretary to Council
The University Secretary is Secretary to the Council and a number of other Council Committees. The role of the Secretary to Council is to support the good governance of the University by providing executive and administrative services to Council, Academic Board and many other committees whilst also providing advice and support to senior officers and members of committees. The Secretary to Council works closely with the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and Committee Chairs on the business of the University’s Committees. The University Secretary is also responsible for the custody and use of the Corporate Seal.
