History of the prize
This prize was founded in 1995 and is maintained with donations from the College of Science, Technology and Engineering, discipline of Mechanical Engineering. The prize is awarded to the student who has completed the Degree of Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering, and who has obtained the highest average weighted mark for the whole of the course.
