If an item is not held in the JCU library, you may be able to borrow from another library.
This is a tiered service where library staff will endeavour to source items free of charge wherever possible. We will always let you know if you will be charged a fee so that you can decide if you would like to go ahead.
- Tier 1 – FREE SERVICE. Our library is part of a reciprocal borrowing network. We have partnered with other libraries to share resources for free! If you request an item from one of these libraries, there is no charge. Limits apply to some users.
- Tier 2 – SMALL FEE MAY APPLY. Some libraries charge each other a small fee to share resources. If you request an item from one of these libraries a small fee may apply. We are still able to offer this service free of charge to some users, although limits apply.
- Tier 3 – RUSH. Need something in a hurry? We will do our best to get it for you within 48 hours! There is a fee for this service.
