Library Services Borrow and Renew Borrowing - Staff and Students

Borrowing for JCU Staff and Students

Staff and students

The standard loan period for General Collection items is 3 weeks. Items will automatically renew unless a hold request is placed by another patron or your account expires.

You will receive an email if an item you have on loan has been requested and needs to be returned.

Items in high demand will be placed on, and removed from, 3 day loan (High Use) depending on demand (number of requests). These items will also automatically renew unless a hold request is placed by another patron. Once demand has dropped they will be transferred back to the General Collection.

All Library receipts will be sent by email.

Where patrons who are both staff and student all library notices will be sent to your staff email address.
