Open Access Resources
The Open Access movement is increasingly overcoming traditional barriers to accessing scholarly resources. While substantial research outputs are still only available by institutional subscriptions (which JCU Library purchases on behalf of JCU staff and students) equally substantial amounts of government-funded research output is published in a multitude of open access repositories that are accessible to all.
To help you locate this material we provide this search tool which searches scholarly and peer reviewed sources freely available in full text.
Browzine Open Access - track your favourite open access journals in your own 'bookshelf' and get notifications when new issues arrive.
One Search Open Access - search for full text in open access journals and books
