Mrs Chapman is the Manager of the Ayr branch of the Helping Hands Clinic. Mrs Chapman runs the Ayr clinic and joined Helping Hands in 2012 after previous experience in both the private and public hand therapy sectors.

It is while working in the public system at the Townsville Hospital that Lauren developed specialised interest in both paediatric and upper limb injuries.

Mrs Chapman gained exposure to a range of acute injuries including tendons, burns and multi-trauma.

Today Mrs Chapman has a specific interest in treating wrist-related injuries.

Due to her regional background, Lauren has an excellent understanding of the challenges facing those in rural areas, and is passionate about her ability to bring specialist hand therapy services to the Burdekin.

When not at work, Mrs Chapman is helping out around the family farm and looking after her three girls.

Lauren Chapman graduated from James Cook University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
