Dr Ratnesh Gilhotra is a Medical Scientist with over 25 years of postdoctoral experience in clinical diagnostics, research, blood processing, and biobanking. She joined QRC-PVD in 2011 (commencing formally in 2012), bringing extensive expertise in handling blood products and managing data to support all aspects of biobanking. Holding a Doctorate in Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology, she plays a key role in preparing human clinical research ethics and governance applications for clinical trials, while also facilitating the setup and maintenance of clinical trial sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, submissions, and approvals across multiple sites in Australia. In addition, she contributes to participant recruitment for clinical trials and oversees the ongoing management of the biobank.
