Haili Luo

Haili Luo is a Research Fellow and Conjoint Lecturer at James Cook University and a Vascular Registrar at Townsville University Hospital. Since joining QRC-PVD in 2026, she has combined clinical practice, research and teaching, contributing to clinical trials, evidence synthesis and vascular research. Her interests include peripheral vascular disease, aortic and aneurysmal disease, vascular imaging and clinical research. Haili obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2019 and has clinical experience in vascular surgery, radiology, interventional radiology and anatomical pathology. Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in medical student teaching and the presentation of research at scientific meetings. She has completed the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Generic Surgical Sciences Examination and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow Basic Surgical Skills Course.
