Semagn is a PhD candidate in Health at James Cook University who began working with QRCPVD in July 2025. Samagn’s research focuses on cardiovascular medicine, perioperative medicine, emergency and critical care, trauma, prehospital care, and digital technology. As part of his doctoral work, Semagn conducts systematic reviews, original research projects, data analysis, and contributes to academic publications. With prior experience as an academician, clinician, and researcher, Semagn holds a Master of Science in Anaesthesia and Critical Care and has additional certifications in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and systematic review methodology.
