How to set up your JCU research portfolio
Portfolio pages are automatically created for research and academic staff once you have loaded your publications into the JCU publication repository, ResearchOnline@JCU (visit https://docs.jcu.me/getting-a-profile.html for more information). You will receive an email once your page has been created. If you have any questions about your Research Portfolio contact research.information@jcu.edu.au.

Our subscription with Research Professional gives you access to set up and save searches, create email alerts to stay informed about new funding opportunities and includes the latest news relevant to research in Australia. To activate your account, visit http://www.researchprofessional.com and sign-in using your university account. Choose James Cook University from the list of institutions and follow the instructions. How to submit your research outputs to Research Online @ JCU
ResearchOnline@JCU is the online institutional repository for James Cook University. It contains a growing collection of publications and creative works which form the University's archive of research outputs of staff and higher degree research students. It enables access to JCU's research publications.

Register your ORCiD ID with JCU
The JCU ORCiD ID Link enables you to link your ORCiD ID with your JCU identity. This will enable any of your research publications imported by our Web of Science and Scopus importers to be linked to you more efficiently.
Who is my research liaison librarian?
The JCU Library provides liaison librarians for all of the major discipline areas. The Library Liaison service assists you with all library and information related matters including (but not limited to):
- Providing consultation services and delivering digital and information literacy programs that enhance student learning and contribute to the learning, teaching and research aims of the University.
- Providing information services, including ICT assistance to JCU students and staff
- Providing support for research and scholarly communication.

The JCU Project Costing Tool helps you to accurately cost your research proposal, tender response or consultancy project in accordance with JCU’s financial policies.
