Please note the Research Application Form has changed, you now need to have all co-investigators sign the form.

From 1 January all Applications must be submitted using GECO. All of the previously available applications are available to choose from in GEO, including:

  • Research Applications
  • Teaching Applications
  • Breeding Applications
  • Holding/Display Applications
  • Observational Activity Applications

GECO Draft Templates

You can use the below forms to draft your application so you can cut and paste into the online GECO form

(do not submit these forms for review, please transfer to GECO if used as a drafting tool)

The previous Animal Use Spreadsheet has been integrated into the GECO application forms, you no longer need to use the spreadsheets in your applications.

Please use GECO to submit all Amendments from after the December meeting.

Annual Progress, Final and Animal Use Reports must now be submitted using GECO.

SOPs are now submitted by completing the GECO online SOP form

AEC Policy and Procedure Documents

  • Opportunistic Sampling, Vouchering and Amendments to Projects in the Field Policy - Has been retracted and under review. This policy is no longer accepted by the AEC.
