MPhil research project: The effect of attachment style, resilience and self-esteem on the relationship between Adverse Childhood Experiences and youth offending

Belinda Astridge is an Australia Registered Nurse with a Master of Mental Health Nursing.

Belinda is employed by QLD Health as a Forensic Liaison Officer and has a strong interest in forensic mental health, including offending behaviour and understanding the characteristics of people who commit criminal offences.

Belinda is undertaking a Master of Philosophy (Health) with James Cook University; her project aims to provide new insights into adverse childhood experience among youth offenders by investigating the effect of attachment style, resilience and self-esteem on the relationship between adverse childhood experiences and youth offending.
