How to apply Domestic applications Cross institutional study

Cross institutional study

Application steps

Before you apply

Identify the subject you wish to study in the Course and Subjects Handbook. Check that you meet all applicable entry requirements, and are eligible to apply for the subject(s) you have chosen.

If you are unsure whether you meet the requirements, our friendly Future Students team can assist you with enquiries related to your specific circumstances. Contact us today to speak to an advisor.

To ensure a smooth application process, it’s important you gather any relevant documents before you begin. You will also need to have your USI (Unique Student Identifier) ready. If you do not have a USI, you will need to create one before beginning your application.

Typically, you will need to provide the following documents with your application:

  • Transcripts and testamurs (degree certificates) for your previous qualifications
  • Proof of citizenship or relevant Australian visa (passport or citizenship certificate)

If your name has changed since you obtained your previous qualifications, you’ll also need to provide:

  • Proof of name change (like a marriage certificate)

Please make sure you check the  'How to apply' section on the course page for additional requirements not listed here.

Submit your application by emailing the completed forms and your supporting documentation to admissions@jcu.edu.au.
