Brian Law

Originally from Singapore, Brian is a lecturer of psychology at James Cook University, and member of the Psychology of Active, Healthy Living (PAHL) group. Brian graduated from his undergraduate studies in Psychology at the National University of Singapore, before continuing his academic journey at The University of Western Australia (Perth). In 2019, he completed his PhD which focused on maternal mental health and social support.

In alignment with PAHL’s mission, Brian has a keen research interest in programs that benefit community health. He is also keen to pass on his knowledge and experience, as can be seen in his passionate demeanour towards his students. He currently teaches health psychology and is Academic Advisor for the Online Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Bridging) at James Cook University.

When not working, you can find him engaging on one of his hobbies: Scuba diving, photography, cooking, and martial arts.
