Madelyn Pardon

Madelyn is one of James Cook University's own, undertaking her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Townsville. Madelyn's research area is primarily environmental psychology, although she also works on various health-related projects that align with PAHL's agenda. Madelyn is currently exploring issues associated with work-integrated learning for nursing/midwifery students, the impact of medically unexplained symptoms on ED re-presentations (a project run at the Townsville University Hospital), and projects concerning maternal health, music's influence on health and wellbeing, and workplace gratitude and productivity. Madelyn has a keen interest in interventions that benefit community health and the environment.
