Jodie's academic journey began at James Cook University, completing a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Research Management at Deakin University. She is now undertaking a PhD on how to support a healthy kinship system for Indigenous women and infants in the perinatal period.
