Windows laptop assistant


Laptop running Windows 7 or later

  1. Connect the laptop to the System using the HDMI.
  2. Set the laptop to duplicate its display by pressing the 'Windows-key' (between the ctrl and alt key) and the 'P-key' and select 'Duplicate' from the menu.
  3. Show the laptop on the projector screen or flat panel display by selecting PC or laptop on the media selector.

  2. Connect the laptop to the AV system using the HDMI cable.
  3. Set the laptop to extend its display by holding down the 'Win-key' and pressing the 'P-key'. Select 'Extend' from the on screen menu.
  4. Click on 'Slide Show' on the ribbon.
  5. Ensure the 'Use Presenter View' box is ticked in the Monitor section before starting the slide show.

  6. To start the presentation click on 'From Beginning'.
    The notes will appear on the PC/laptop screen only while the room display will show the slides without notes.
