International Orientation

International Student Orientation is compulsory for all students studying on an International Student Visa.

Further information, including exact timings and locations, will be provided to you by the JCU team as part of your pre-departure communications.

By attending Orientation, you will gain the information, contacts and campus knowledge to successfully commence your studies. It is also a great opportunity to meet and make friends with fellow students and JCU staff through fun social activities.

2024 International Orientation Dates

JCU Student Orientation week is the first week of university for students. Students are required to attend the following events;

• College Orientation (Course Specific) (Monday/Tuesday)
• JCU Orientation

International Students are also required to attend

• International Student Orientation

Please bring your photo ID (student ID card, passport or driver's license) and JCU username and password (if you have one).
