JCU alumni praises his studies for opening doors in his career
According to a former JCU international student, his decision to study in Australia has been his golden ticket to starting a career in the IT world.
Sai Pavan Pandrangi, originally from India, believes his experiences of studying at the JCU campus in Townsville have only shaped his life for the better.
“JCU is the best choice for Master of Information Technology, Computing and Networking, due to the excellent and attentive staff, more learning opportunities, and best practical knowledge and experience,” Sai said.
“This is the best place to lay foundations for your career.”
He still holds fond memories of all the special people who have helped him on his journey from the moment he arrived in Townsville in 2019 to start his next chapter.
“International students are lucky to have the International Support team to guide and support anything you need. JCU - My best choice in life,” he said.
“A highlight has been the outstanding staff who are always available and teaching experts. You name a question and they will find a better solution for you.
“They are your best friends in your journey with JCU from start to finish and even in every single point of time when you need them.”
After graduating in Semester 1, 2021, Sai made the move down south and is currently working as a Service Desk Analyst with Optus in Macquarie Park in Sydney.
Despite leaving the tropics for an amazing career opportunity, he has big dreams of one day returning to JCU and working as an IT Support Staff.
We wish Sai all the best in fulfilling his goals in the future!
