About JCU Emerald
Home to the JCU Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health, the Emerald study centre is training up the next generation of the rural Queensland health workforce. Students in nursing, medicine, dentistry, and allied health can gain hands-on experience through real-world placements around the region. Featuring student accommodation and service learning clinics, this is a study centre that puts community connection and practical, real-world learning at the front and centre.
