Law Seminar Series - International Law & Dispute Resolution
Tuesday 16 May 2023, 12:30pm – 1:30pm Law traditionally celebrates bravado and success, but what happens in the inevitable times of failure both personally and in the courtroom? In this week’s Seminar we are joined by Barrister and JCU Alumni, Merissa Martinez who talks about the importance of stepping out of comfort zones into growth, what we can learn from our own failures and the "failure" of cases, doctrines and movements, as society and law progresses and changes. She specialises in complex infrastructure disputes and is a passionate advocate for social change.
