As Semester One comes to an end we unveil the triumphs and takeaways from the first JCU Law Seminar Series.
As the curtain falls on the first semester of the academic year, we find ourselves reflecting on the enlightening journey of the of the Law Seminar Series that culminated on May 16th with an exceptional presentation on 'Fear and Failure' by the accomplished Townsville Barrister, Merissa Martinez. With a total of ten engaging seminars in Semester One, the series managed to captivate the imaginations of legal enthusiasts and professionals alike, drawing over 300 eager registrations.

A noteworthy aspect that made this semester truly exceptional was our commitment to inclusivity. Every seminar was live-streamed, breaking down the barriers of geography and making it accessible to law students, legal professionals and the general community far and wide. This initiative received resounding praise from our external students, who found it incredibly valuable to have the opportunity to participate in events of this calibre. It's an avenue for knowledge dissemination that bridges the gaps and offers an unparalleled opportunity for legal enthusiasts to broaden their horizons.
If you missed any of these enlightening presentations, worry not. We are delighted to announce that replays of the seminars are now readily available for your viewing pleasure. Whether you're looking to revisit a favourite topic, catch up on one you missed, or simply wish to reinforce your understanding, our on-demand replays are available.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated student volunteers who played a pivotal role in making this semester a resounding success. Their passion and commitment have been instrumental in delivering a seamless and enriching experience to all participants.
