Online Programs

During 2022 the Centre for Education and Enhancement reviewed their core offering for Educators (Sessional Staff, New Staff, Subject Coordinators, and Course Coordinators) and identified a significant amount of overlap in what could be considered the core JCU Educator knowledge and capabilities. The team then redeveloped the core offering into a modularised format that also offered more flexibility for new staff ready for deployment in 2023.

The new core offerings are:

  • Academic Integrity
  • Being an Educator
  • The JCU Student Experience

These Short Learning Programs focus on giving you an understanding of

  • what is expected of you as an educator at JCU
  • an overview of the what the student experience looks like at JCU, how you contribute and what supports are available,
  • the importance of Academic Integrity, JCU educative approach and strategies for dealing with potential academic misconduct.

These three Short Learning Programs form part of employment probation requirements.

To register

Registrations for the Short Learning Programs will be via the Staff Learning Hub.
