LearnJCU Support
Stuck on something in LearnJCU and need help? Not a worry, you can access 24/7 support!
In LearnJCU (bottom-right), access the Support Panel by clicking the question mark icon. Choose from:
Blackboard Help to get instant help related to the page you're on, or
Chat Support to chat with Doug the Brush Turkey: He's the friendly LearnJCU AI assistant who can answer most questions. If Doug can't help, you can easily connect with a human support agent for personalised assistance.
Or, Call the Help Desk for free anywhere in Australia: 1800 316 515, or Singapore, 800 492 2737 (have your Staff ID ready, found on your Staff ID Card)
As this is a new service, we would appreciate feedback on your experience.
Session Debug
You can also capture and forward the last 30 actions of a session to LearnJCU Support for troubleshooting by requesting a debug log code.
Other support requests
Subject mergers are final. Please refer to all important information on the merge request form before processing your request.
Two or more subjects can be merged into a single site to make it more efficient to manage subject materials and communications. Subject site mergers clear all content, therefore, sites should be merged before any content is created.
All transfers of subject content are now performed by a copying process by the subject coordinator or lecturer.
- Follow the JCU Subject Template
- Copying content from one subject (or organisation) site to another
Staff can request an organisation site (formerly known as community site) for an online environment to share resources and collaborate with peers in a specific area of interest.
The Academic Design and Development (ADD) team can assist in:
- Assessment design
- Course and subject design/development
- Digital content design/development
- Professional development
- Teaching strategies and approaches
