Hire of University Facilities

Facilities Charges

The University charges for use of its facilities and services based on the following categories:

Category 1 User

JCU recognised clubs, societies and associations; JCU sponsored organisations; JCU departments that are providing conferences, seminars, recitals or other functions for which a charge is made to attendees; small societies that are organised wholly through JCU departments for the benefit of the local community.

Category 2 User

Other universities, e.g. UQ; educational bodies, e.g. other schools; JCU affiliated bodies; professional or scientific organisations, e.g. CSIRO, DPI.

Category 3 User

Commercial or external organisations including government departments.

Note: Hire charges are for the room ONLY. Additional charges may apply for equipment, audio-visual services and cleaning.
