Keys, including ordering and issuing new keys, are handled through the Estate Office. If you require keys to an office, complete a workspace allocation request allocating yourself to the office you require keys.
Lost and old keys
Report lost, found and old or obsolete keys to the Estate Directorate through MEX. Provide them with details of lost and found keys.

Building swipe card access is handled through the Estate Directorate. If you require swipe card access to a meeting room, complete a MEX request outlining which room you would like access to.
Lost and old swipe cards
Report lost and found swipecards to the Student Services Customer Service Desk.
To obtain a new swipe card, fill out the ID Card Request Form.

Security escorts are available for students and staff. The security service provides escorts after-hours from buildings to car parks or on-campus accommodation buildings. It should be noted that there is no officer dedicated to this service and so the response time will be variable depending on the duties and location of the Security Officers at the time of the request.

A Queensland Police Beat operates on the Douglas Campus only. The Police Beat operates during Semester 1 and 2 and will not operate during semester breaks.
Police Beat hours are:
- Mondays – 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Thursdays – 8:00pm to 2:00am
- Fridays – 12:00pm to 8:00pm
