Physics-Informed AI and Digital Twins for Critical-Minerals Processing

Critical-minerals processing involves complex interactions between multiphase flow, heat transfer, chemical reactions, mixing, gas evolution, solids suspension and energy consumption. Many operations still rely on limited measurements and trial-and-error optimisation, making it difficult to improve recovery, reduce reagent use and maintain stable operation. A generalised physics-informed AI platform can support multiple minerals and reactor types rather than a single vanadium process only.
