AI for Mental Health Monitoring

Researchers at CADSI are developing artificial intelligence methods that use low-cost wearable brain sensors (EEG) to improve mental health monitoring. The team combines machine learning and explainable AI to identify biomarkers associated with stress and neurological disorders, while improving the reliability and generalisation of AI models across different populations. This research supports earlier, more accurate and accessible mental health assessment using affordable sensing technologies.
