Education Queensland Approvals

JCU research projects that involve children or staff at any unit or facility of the Queensland Department of Education (DoE) must obtain JCU human ethics approval and DoE approval before access to these sites will be granted.

Once JCU ethics approval is granted, the Department requires a separate “Research Application” to be submitted with the JCU ethics approval notice attached.

The DoE also requires evidence that you have undergone a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or evidence that this is not required.
