Role

• Manager of the Collections and Discovery Team comprised of the Collection Development and Discovery and Metadata teams
• Has responsibility for expenditure of the Library Material budget and to ensure transparency, accountability and efficient procurement of all information resources for the library
• Member of the Library Leadership Team contributing to overall Library culture, planning and management endeavours
• Leads the planning, implementation and evaluation of library-wide technology projects and initiatives
• Identifies and communicates key information and communication technology opportunities and emerging issues
• Ensures that the Library operates in a sophisticated and robust ICT environment
• Liaison with the University’s Technology Solutions Directorate on application and infrastructure  management and development
