Role

The Director, Library Services, is responsible for:

• strategic leadership, vision and management of library collections, services, staff, facilities and technologies

• ensuring the delivery of innovative, high quality, client-focused library services, collections, and facilities to support and enhance the University's learning, teaching, research and engagement priorities

• overseeing business improvements and change management within the libraries

• operational performance of the  Library Services Directorate including physical and virtual infrastructure, financial and human resources

• leading and contributing to the student experience

• leadership for scholarly information management and communication

• leading and contributing to the selection, implementation and development of complex information and communication technologies

• legislative and regulatory compliance including serving as the Copyright Officer for the University
