Role

The Head, Library Services and University Librarian, is responsible for strategic and operational management of  library collections, services, staff, facilities and technologies. Key functions of the Library are to:

  • Provide a full range of learning and research support services
  • Provide collections and discovery services
  • Manage library spaces, experience and engagement
  • Provide copyright services

The role is also responsible for:

  • ensuring the delivery of innovative, high quality, client-focused library services, collections, and facilities to support and enhance the University's learning, teaching, research and engagement priorities
  • leading and contributing to the selection, implementation and development of complex information and communication technologies
  • overseeing business improvements and change management within the libraries
  • legislative and regulatory compliance including serving as the Copyright Officer for the University
