The visualizers or document cameras have to a large extent replaced the Over Head Projectors and are wired into the VAVS switching controls for ease of use. They can be used to show documents, handwritten notes, book pages, objects of interest and much much more more. Your imagination is the limit!
To turn the document camera on, slide the switch marked On/Off in a direction away from you. For optimum contrast, light etc., the lamp and camera positions can be changed manually by moving the individual arm and head.
The illuminator light can be turned off and on depending on your requirements and the amount of ambient light. To turn the light on/off, push the button below the light globe icon.
Use the ZOOM control to enlarge or shrink the object. To zoom in turn the control dial in a clockwise direction and to zoom out, turn it counter-clockwise.
Press the small blue button marked with the letter AF, situated at the centre of the ZOOM control, to regain focus of the object.
The IRIS CLOSE and OPEN, determines how much light actually goes through the camera. Push the CLOSE button to diminish the iris size or OPEN to widen the iris.
