Theses Collection

The Library is required to hold one copy of any thesis for which a doctoral degree or a research masters degree has been awarded by the University. Theses must be deposited to the library in digital and print format. Instructions and requirements are given in HDR Library Thesis Deposit Procedure.

On the recommendation of the Head of School, a print copy of Honours and Postgraduate Coursework theses may also be deposited with the Library.

Theses are entered into One Search and the full text of Higher Degree by Research theses may be available in ResearchOnline@JCU

Print copies of theses are located in the Eddie Koiki Mabo Library in Townsville, between the Reference Collection and the Curriculum collection on the first floor, and on the 2nd floor of the Cairns Library at the end of the Journal Collection.

Theses that have access restrictions are located in Special Collections.

Theses may be available for inter-library loan or for sale.
